Minds in Depth Membership Terms and Conditions

Introduction

Welcome to Minds in Depth, a membership dedicated to providing knowledge and understanding for parents or carers of children with autism and other cognitive issues. By accessing or using our website or membership site and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

Definitions

  • “We,” “Us,” “Our”: Refers to Minds in Depth.
  • “You,” “Your”: Refers to the user, visitor, or member of our website and services.
  • “Services”: Refers to the educational content, community forums, and other features provided by Minds in Depth.

Membership and Accounts

Registration

To access our membership services, you will be required to register and then maintain your account through the Kourses platform that we use.

  • Option 1: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. Kourses will manage your account credentials and related activities. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Option 2: Alternatively, we may have to manually register accounts for you. In this case, you must provide accurate and up-to-date information to us directly. We will then create and manage your account on your behalf.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register for an account. If you are 16 or 17, you must have parental consent to use our services. Those under 16 are prohibited from using our services.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice and without refund, if we believe you have violated any terms or engaged in any fraudulent or illegal activity.

Use of Services

You agree not to:

  • Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of our services without our express written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services.

Intellectual Property

All content available on the Minds in Depth membership site (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images) are owned by Impossible Problems Solved and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. Minds in Depth operates under a license to use this content for the purposes of providing educational materials and services to its members.

Members are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal, non-commercial and non-organisational purposes in accordance with the terms of this agreement. Any other use, reproduction, modification, distribution, or creation of derivative works from the content without the prior written consent of Impossible Problems Solved is strictly prohibited.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Minds in Depth, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates, from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising from your use of our services or your violation of these Terms. This means that if we face any legal issues due to your actions, you will cover the costs.

Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please note that ••Kourses`88 manages user account details and ••Stripe•• processes payment information.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation or availability of our services.

  • Minds in Depth provides educational content and resources aimed at helping parents or carers of children with autism and other cognitive issues. However, we are not responsible for any outcomes resulting from the implementation of strategies or advice found within our membership services.
  • We do not provide advice regarding the best interventions for your child or children. It is your responsibility to identify the underlying issues that underpin symptoms and whether any suggested intervention is suitable for your child.

By using our services, you agree that your use is at your own risk and that Minds in Depth, its owners, employees, affiliates, and agents are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from or relating to your use of the services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.   • Any unauthorised access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
  • If our services are interrupted or stop working for any reasons.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms of Service shall first be attempted to be resolved in good faith through negotiation and mediation. Both parties agree to make reasonable efforts to resolve any dispute through mediation before pursuing any other form of dispute resolution.

If mediation fails or is not feasible, the dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales, under English law. By using our services, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts for the purpose of litigating any claims or disputes.

Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our membership site. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
